*Our biogenic liquefied gas is supplied via an ISCC PLUS-certified supply chain. The biogenic feedstocks used and their sustainability characteristics are documented along the supply chain and assigned in a verifiable manner. Compliance with the requirements is regularly audited by independent bodies. For further information, please refer to the English original document “ISCC Traceability and Chain of Custody,” in particular Section 3.3 “Sustainability Declarations” and Section 3.4 “Traceability Requirements.”

Within a certified mass balance system, sustainable and non-sustainable materials may be physically mixed. The associated sustainability characteristics and quantities remain allocated in the quantity accounting and are documented, monitored, and controlled along the supply chain. Further information on the certification criteria

** The CO₂ balance covers production and transport up to the Tyczka Energy storage facility. Transport to the customer is not included. The determination of the GHG emissions reduction is made by comparing the ISCC-certified GHG emission values provided for the respective delivery with the fossil reference value for liquefied gas according to the GEMIS database (66.315 g CO₂e/MJ). The basis consists of emissions from the production and provision of BioLPG up to its departure from the refinery to the Tyczka Energy tank storage facility (well-to-tank). The actual GHG reduction depends on the delivery and, for quantities procured to date, has ranged between 80.53% and 88.75%.
